L.S. Crocodile (Taiwan)

Lapsang Souchong Crocodile is a coarse-leaved black tea from Taiwan. The tea leaves of this particular smoked tea are naturally sweeter compared to more regular, Chinese Lapsang Souchong varieties (often from Fujian, China). The sweet undertone forms the basis on which lies a lighter and more delicate smoke aroma.

To give this smoked tea its distinctive flavours, a different type of pine wood is fired under the baskets in which processed tea leaves dry. The smoke aroma of the burned wood clings to the leaves, which leads to a perfect balance between the smoked flavours and the leaves. A unique tea for the true connoisseur of smoked teas, especially suitable to drink at the end of the (working) day or after a meal.

Ingredients:    
Coarse black tea from Taiwan, delicately smoked over wet pinewood.
